This one-day alcohol license is called a \u201cBanquet\nLicense.\u201d And a Banquet License allow persons or groups to host events such as\nwedding receptions, tastings or fundraisers, where alcohol is served in an\nunlicensed location or club premise for private one-day events such as wedding\nreceptions. A banquet license is also needed for retirement parties, company\ncelebrations, nonprofit events, festivals, concerts, auctions or political\nfundraisers. As you are filling out the application, pick the wrong type of\nlicense or leave a blank and that one mistake on your application can tie it up\nin red tape or even get the license denied. As you can see, obtaining a license\nin VA isn\u2019t as easy as walking in a door, filling out an application and\ngetting your license. It is a <em>process <\/em>\u2013 this licensing process takes\ntime, attention to detail, document gathering, follow up, and several levels of\nreview by the VA ABC Authority, before approval. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How we can help?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>We have a simplified online form.
