In addition, every single sales ticket (to include cash sales and buffet tickets) must be kept, and attached, to your daily report. This report should indicate the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sales<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Entrees (items with sides, buffet, or\nsubstantial meals such as spaghetti) <\/li><li>Other Food (appetizers, side items, desserts) <\/li><li>Non-Alcoholic Beverages (soda, tea, coffee etc.)\n<\/li><li>Wine &amp; Beer (this is the only category that\ncan be combined)<\/li><li>Mixed Beverages (this include liquor, shots,\nmixed drinks, and mixers)<\/li><li>To Go (these items cannot count towards your\nminimum sale requirement or ratio.)<\/li><li>Miscellaneous (hookah, tobacco, calendars,\nshirts, etc)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purchases<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages<\/li><li>Wine &amp; Beer<\/li><li>Mixed Beverages<\/li><li>Miscellaneous<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sales total must be less sales tax and not include Discounts\/Comps. &nbsp;For example: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>$10.00 Burger&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p><p>+ $1.00 Sales Tax&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p><p>= $11.00&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p><p>&#8211; $5.00 Employee Discount<\/p><p>(Therefore, <strong><em>your Reported Sales Amount is $5.00<\/em><\/strong>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mixed Beverage Minimum Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Entrees is $2,000 <\/li><li>Total Food is $4,000<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wine and Beer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Entrees is $1,000 <\/li><li>Total Food is $2,000<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"447\" height=\"587\" src=\"http:\/\/vaabc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/sample-sales-report.png\" alt=\"ABC's of Alcohol Reporting\" class=\"wp-image-13617\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vaabc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/sample-sales-report.png 447w, https:\/\/vaabc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/sample-sales-report-228x300.png 228w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 447px) 100vw, 447px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>(Please Note: <strong><em>Totals reported must match what\nis reported to the VA Dept. of Taxation<\/em><\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last thing we\u2019ll say about this is that you should keep all\nsales records for 2 years.
