You enjoy that alcohol and the service,\nvery much. You get ready to leave and you pay for the service, not really think\nanything more about it\u2026until the next time you come. That nail tech got fired\nfor serving alcohol.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you would like to schedule a consultation call, we\u2019ll be happy to sit down and discuss your business with you and alcohol license.&nbsp; <\/em><a href=\"tel:8007850161\"><strong>800.785.0161<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Jewelry\nstores<\/li><li>High-end\nnail salons<\/li><li>Bridal\nboutique<\/li><li>High-end\nclothing boutiques<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You\ncannot serve alcohol without a license \u2013 and the Day Spa license is the only\nlicense in the state of Virginia that allows you to serve alcohol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The patron has to purchase a service <\/li><li>The alcohol has to be part of the service <\/li><li>The day spa has to be licensed. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nVirginia you cannot provide alcohol or sell alcohol without having the proper\nalcohol license. The Day Spa Alcohol License allows the certified cosmetologist\nor the certified massage therapist to provide alcohol, during a service. You\nMUST have BOTH services available and BOTH therapists available, in order to\nprovide alcohol. In other words, the license allows the Day Spa (that offers\nboth of those services) to provide alcohol beverage DURING the service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your\nclient comes in for a nail service (and both a certified massage therapist and\ncertified nail technician are in the building) and you offer them a glass of\nalcohol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\nhappens if you have a high-end jewelry store and you want to serve alcohol? You\ncannot. The enforcement of Virginia ABC Authority sees that as \u201cdrinking in\npublic,\u201d which is against the law. Your patron could be arrested. And if you\nare selling a service or selling a product and serving alcohol, you are serving\nalcohol without a license, therefore, you can be charged with a Class 1\nMisdemeanor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s say you were charged with selling alcohol without a license.
