The answer is&#8230;it depends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Pour yourself a drink; you\u2019re going to need it!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I often get questions about if you have a DUI, can you still get a license. Of course it is a case-by-case basis, but generally speaking, if you have had a DUI, it doesn\u2019t prohibit you from getting a license. If you plan to be an ABC Manager, you must be approved by VA ABC before acting as an ABC Manager. And having a felony or DUI conviction may hinder that.&nbsp; Two reasons that could hold you back are if you were convicted in the last 5 years or if you received a felony conviction. Many people are charged with a DUI but the charges are dropped or reduced after conviction.
