ABC Consulting continues to update you, hourly, if necessary, on all the changes that affect you, the business owner, in Virginia. These updates affect Virginia Restaurants and all the Virginia business that sell and serve alcohol. All United States businesses are being impacted by the spread of COVID-19 and Social Distancing.

  • Curbside Pickup of Alcohol
  • Selling Alcohol ToGo
  • Delivery of Alcohol

Although things are changing, daily, because of the coronavirus, it is important if you are licensed in Virginia, to stay on TOP of what is changing. The easiest way to do this is to TUNE IN to our channel. In order to ensure that you are the first to know, as things change, please like and subscribe to the YouTube channel  – things are changing quickly and often – but you’ll be notified, immediately, as a notification will come directly to your email, if you subscribe, when we post a new video. Stay Tuned!

  • As of Friday, March 20, 2020, the Governor of Virginia indicated that Wine & Beer On-Premises licensees may use the privileges of a Wine and Beer Off-Premises licensee, thus, allowing them to sell Wine & Beer ToGo, without additional permits. NOTE: this does not apply to mixed drinks and/or liquor.
  • As of Monday, March 23, 2020, the Governor of Virginia prohibits Restaurants, Wineries, and Breweries from allowing dining IN their establishments due to COVID-19, the coronavirus. Curbside and Delivery is still allowed, at this time.

We will get through this. We will recover. Our community is stepping up, communicating and supporting and doing what they need to do, to help each other. We WILL get through this – hopefully sooner than later. If you would like to make your delivery license a permanent feature of your business, let’s talk: 800-785-0161

For now, you are able to deliver food & alcohol, with your current alcohol license, with no additional permitting. Please remember, no dining in, at this point (no more 10-patron rule). Only Delivery, Curbside or ToGo!

We are wishing everyone the best, during this difficult time. And stay tuned for changes. Remember, if you want to offer Wine and Beer ToGo, Curbside, and have a permanent Delivery License (beyond this current state-of-emergency), ABC Consulting can assist you with obtaining that permit.
