Independence Day has always been celebrated by 4th of July parades, fireworks and 3-day weekends, but this year? It seems sweeter for so many reasons: 1) we can see and hug our loved ones; 2) we see people’s faces and 3) we have survived a very difficult year. And this year we added a celebration of Juneteenth….to make sure that we noticed, saw and celebrated ALL Americans and their Independence Day. For certain, 2021 is a year of celebrations and strides towards progress.
